Mode of Action
- With the combination of Spinova mesh material, tension band and bridging pad, the spine load is reduced and stabilized. Movements that damage the spine are restricted.
- Adjustable abdominal binding bands, together with the Spinova tension band system, allow the compression applied to the abdominal cavity to be adjusted individually.
- Thanks to the abdominal pad, the abdominal pressure applied to the spine is increased.
Multi-Functionality: Spinova Support Plus modular structure provides a controlled therapy thanks to the two-stage treatment scheme adjusted to the individual.
Stage 1 (Stabilization stage): The orthosis is used with a bridging pad for effective postoperative or initial conservative correction of vertebral body segments.
Stage 2 (Mobilization stage): In case of increasing mobilization with progressive rehabilitation, the bridging pad is removed and the aluminum rods are removed from the Spinova back cassette. The corset rods remaining in the orthosis create an external support effect.
Reattachment of the Spinova Support Plus is possible at any time, depending on the indication.
